Christmas in Australia is summer, and summer in Australia is Christmas.  And both mean it is the end of the year.  December is full of end of year preparations and Christmas tidying up – or is that the other way around? – and January is time for sitting in the sun and eating and drinking and generally doing nothing.

So – all of this means Gay Flash Fiction has been quiet over this time, despite stories queueing up in my in-tray.  Sorry to the writers who are waiting to see their stories online, and sorry to the readers waiting for  more stories to warm their cold northern nights.  I will soon get the stories and posts going again.

Meanwhile, have a cosy winter, lazy summer, and try to keep clear of the bushfires.
